The last Wednesday session from 8-10 pm will finish on Sept. 8th at UBC Osborne Gym. We will be starting our regular Saturday trainings on Sept.11th from 10:30 am - 1:00pm at Osborne Gym. See under training for more info., it will be updated soon. Membership and drop in fees will remain the same. BCTHF will be hosting the Senior Men and Women's Team Handball National Championship at the Richmond Olympic Oval May 19 -23, 2011. If you are interested on playing for Team BC or becoming involved with the tournament, please join us at UBC Osborne Gym or contact us.

Welcome to West Coast Team Handball
Handball is an exciting sport. It is played in 183 countries, 31 million players, trainers, officials and referees worldwide acting with 1,130,000 teams. Unfortunately it is little known in North America. Here in Vancouver, after many years of absence, the sport is back again and we hope that it will continue to grow.
The West Coast Team Handball Federation was established in September 22, 2004. Our enthusiastic group is determined to make this sport better known in British Columbia.

It is easy to learn, fun to play and doesn't require lots of equipment. What can be better than that?

This season we have players - among the few Canadian players - from Sweden, Germany, Iran, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Netherlands, Romania, Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Benin, Brasil, Spain, Denmark, Japan, Hong Kong and Turkey. It is truly fun to play with people from all these different countries.
